Neat App Hub surpasses anything previously achieved with video hardware devices by incorporating familiar mobile app experiences into devices across the workplace.  It’s now generally available with the certification of our first wave of applications plus an expanding ecosystem of use cases natively available on Neat devices via our newly launched App Marketplace.

Neat App Hub is a pioneering development platform that natively brings essential apps people rely on in their daily workflows directly to Neat devices. These include applications dedicated to workplace experience, shared space collaboration, and custom web apps.

Our Neat App Hub ecosystem already has over two dozen providers, including global market leaders and specialized companies, with countless innovative applications that businesses rely on daily to address workflows. The subsequent growth phase for Neat App Hub will expand our developer program to bring in developer communities to foster the creation of new and innovative apps.

Streamlined and informative workplace experience apps

The first wave of app providers to address room/desk booking and digital signage on Neat Pad is now generally available. Coming next is an ever-evolving expansion of exciting use cases and apps. These use cases address workplace experiences by including visitor management, virtual receptionist, wayfinding, and digital signage across Neat’s video device portfolio.

For instance, visitor management provides interactive kiosk experiences for visitor and employee check-in, check-out, host alerting when visitors arrive, badge printing, and many other capabilities. The virtual receptionist allows access to a live agent at the touch of a button, and our unique, portrait-oriented Neat Frame device is perfect for these tasks.

Bringing tools and workflows directly to shared spaces

Neat App Hub also supports collaboration solutions. You can enjoy more engaging and productive collaboration by bringing tools and workflows typically deployed on your desktop directly to shared spaces. For instance, you can use apps and tools such as visual whiteboarding, content management, interactive presentations, or even music and gaming apps to energize and inspire your teams.

Neat App Hub empowers you like no other video technology platform by allowing you to add commonly used web apps to your Neat devices, but that’s not all! It also enables you to surpass them. Neat App Hub offers maximum flexibility by enabling you to integrate your own uniquely designed apps relevant to your business with Neat devices.

Choose between single or multiple apps on one device

From mid-October, you can choose whether to deploy a single app in kiosk mode or multiple apps on a single device. Hence, you can use a Neat device in a singular space for various purposes, such as displaying or announcing news, while allowing your teams to jump into any accessible app they need when necessary. For example, your teams can instantly switch from your Neat device displaying digital signage to a visual collaboration app.

Here’s the magical part! You can uniquely share these applications and more in your Microsoft Teams and Zoom meetings using Neat Share, a groundbreaking technology that begins beta in Q4 2024. Neat Share enables you to combine multiple video devices and integrate apps into your Microsoft Teams or Zoom meetings while preserving the native experience of your Teams, Zoom, and app platforms.

Accessible via our Red Dot Award-winning Neat Pulse platform, device administrators can select the apps they want to make accessible across your entire Neat device deployment.

They can manage, monitor, and update them across any or all of your company’s relevant Neat environments from one central location, empowering you with centralized deployment and management down to the device level. You won’t need to worry about any outdated app software releases or having to update anything individually from the device. Neat App Hub supports your apps independently and natively, so there’s zero dependency between apps and Neat OS.
